David Lynch fans are treated to a free album today by Dean Hurley, the Music Director and Mixer for Lynch’s last film Inland Empire. Anyone who’s seen Inland Empire know it’s one of Lynch’s strangest. The music, along with the seedy digital picture, make for a dark surrealist nightmare. In addition to working on that film, Dean Hurley assisted with production on David Lynch’s other musical outputs and remixes over the last couple years. The album is entitled “Days of Thunder & Rain” and is available at Hurley’s website. It arrives with a short film, uniquely surreal in its own right, directed by Nicholas Wurz and William Renton.
